Chicken & Steak Fajitas


Chicken & Steak fajitas recipe for a filling and delicious meal that you can dress up in multiple ways! Keto, low carb, paleo, gluten free.


  • 12 red bell peppers (or mixed colors, cut into strips)
  • 1 yellow onion (cut into strips)
  • 1/2 lb steak (flank or sirloin, cut into strips)
  • 1/2 lb chicken thigh (cut into strips)
  • 1 tsp each: cumin (garlic powder, chili powder, paprika)
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • cooking oil (I like avocado oil)

For serving:

  • 1 batch Traditional Guacamole
  • 1 batch Pico de Gallo
  • cilantro (green onions, cheese)


  1. In a pan (preferably cast iron) over medium heat, add 1 tbsp cooking oil. Toss in onions and allow to cook for 2-3 minutes until starting to soften. Add bell peppers to pan and cook another two minutes. Add in chicken and the spices.
  2. Cook for 4-5 minutes then add in the steak.
  3. Add salt and pepper, to taste.
  4. Cook until chicken and steak are no longer pink and all the way cooked through (time will vary depending on thickness of your strips).
