Description

A light and refreshing Pink Grapefruit Margarita recipe, perfect for a single drink or for a crowd!

Ingredients

Scale
  • For a single:
  • 2 shot glasses tequila
  • 1 shot glass cointreau
  • 1 shot glass lime juice
  • 1/2 shot glass agave nectar (more or less to taste)
  • 2 shot glasses pink grapefruit juice
  • ice
  • lime wedges for garnish
  • Pink Himalayan Salt (or other coarse salt)
  • For a crowd:
  • 3 cups tequila
  • 1 1/2 cups cointreau
  • 1 1/2 cups lime juice
  • 3/4 cup agave nectar (more or less to taste)
  • 2 1/2 cups pink grapefruit juice
  • ice
  • lime wedges for garnish
  • Pink Himalayan Salt (or other coarse salt)

Instructions

  1. For single, rub the rim of a glass with a lime wedge and then dip in pink himalayan sea salt or another coarse salt.
  2. In glass, mix tequila, cointreau, lime juice, pink grapefruit juice and agave nectar. Stir well. If desired, add more agave nectar (for less sweet or sweeter). Add ice. Garnish glass with lime wedge.
  3. For a crowd, rub the rims of the glasses with a lime wedge and then dip in pink himalayan sea salt or other coarse salt, coating the edge of the glass.
  4. Mix tequila, cointreau, lime juice, pink grapefruit juice and agave necter in a glass. Stir well. You can add more Agave Nectar to each individual cup, if desired (to make it sweeter). Add ice. Garnish each glass with lime wedge.

Notes

Note: I use shot glasses to measure my drinks if their single. Typically a shot glass is 1 oz of liquid so if you want to measure by oz, just use 1 oz for every shot glass.
