A light and refreshing Pink Grapefruit Margarita recipe perfect for a single drink or for a crowd at parties.
Margaritas 4 President!
Ok, I know margaritas can’t be president but still. I love Margaritas. The good ones. Not the overly sugar laden bombs that hardly have any liquor and are more like slurpees. I’m not super into those. If I’m going to have a margarita then I want to taste some tequila, you know?
If you couldn’t tell by this weeks posts, I’m pretty pumped for Cinco de Mayo. Truth be told, I’m not even entirely sure why I’m so excited for it although it could have something to do with a day that celebrates Avocados, makes a big deal about Tacos and of course highly encourages the drinking of Margaritas!
I don’t even have plans for Cinco de Mayo, well except to drink this Pink Grapefruit Margarita and eat some Tacos. Or nachos. Or both. Go big or go home.
There’s something really special about this May. The month started on a Monday and put Cinco de Mayo on a Friday. That’s just meant to be.
The other day I made these Margaritas and they were delicious and I drank four and it was awesome. Great story, I know.
The Pink Grapefruit is just a fun addition to a little extra flavor and make it a pretty pink color. Also bonus points to anyone who salts the rim of their glass with Pink Himalayan salt like I did because then your glass is totally color coordinated!
Happy #ThirstyThursday! Have a Margarita … to pre-game for tomorrow’s Margaritas!
