This past weekend we went on a trip to San Diego to relax, hang out with the pups and eat lots of good food! I use the term “hang out” a little loosely, mostly because hauling two puppies around San Diego isn’t the easiest thing to do. At least not when we’re talking about our dogs. And we are.
Jk love u guys. haha
In any case, it was a great time and we truly experienced San Diego through our stomachs. Here’s a recap of our foodie adventure:
Raglan Public House // Wake n’ Bake – Grilled swordfish, spicy coleslaw, avocado, tarragon mayo, sourdough bread
Barleymash // The Wedgie – baby iceberg, diced prosciutto, shaved tomato, pickled onions, basil blue cheese dressing
Barleymash // El Chingon – cavatappi noodles, poblano beer-cheese sauce, pepper jack beer-cheese sauce, spiced rum-chimichurri marinated prime carne aside, salsa fresca, sour cream
Salt & Cleaver // Rib-Eye Scramble – rib-eye sausage, scrambled eggs, caramelized onions, goat cheese, fried brussels leaves, home fries, toast
Like I said, it was a short trip… but we sure managed to fit a whole lotta good food in a short amount of time. There were a lot of places I still want to try so I guess we’ll be coming back again soon!
