Shake, shake, shake, shake, shake it.
Everyone likes a good shake. A thick and creamy, slurpin’ out of a straw shake. But sometimes shakes are a little heavy, a little calorie laden, a little not so good for us….
So, I set out to change that.
Enter this week’s drink of the week: Almond Butter Banana Shake. It is so good. And easy to make. I just throw all the ingredients in my Magic Bullet, blend and I can drink it right out of the cup. Have you guys tried those things? I love them.
And it is not so bad for you. So, I consider that a win. I like this as a snack, a post workout drink, as dessert…. There’s something about the combination of bananas and almond butter that just goes together really well and makes it taste more like (good for you) dessert.
I like to add vanilla protein powder for the vanilla flavor (and extra protein) but if you don’t want to use that or don’t have it on hand, you can use vanilla extract instead. Happy slurping!
