Welp, I just got back from Nashville this past Sunday where we went to celebrate my friends’ 30th birthday. I’ve heard a lot of great things about Nashville so I was pretty excited to check out the scene and see what it was all about.
All seven of us stayed in the cutest Air B&B right outside of downtown tucked into a tree lined neighborhood with leaves all over the ground. Some of my favorite memories from the trip were just spent in that quaint little house talking and laughing.
We were pretty much going most of the time we were there, we did a lot of touristy stuff and walked or took an Uber pretty much everywhere. We walked down music row and went to the different bars, took a tour of Ryman auditorium, saw a show at the Grand Ole Oprey, went to the Country Music Hall of Fame and checked out a Nashville Predators game.
The food was pretty good too–two standouts for me were Pinewood Social and a place called Biscuit Love. Pinewood Social is a coffee shop, restaurant and a bowling alley all in one so it’s pretty unique. The food was great and the cuban coffee delicious as was the breakfast sandwich. Biscuit love was super cute, with tons of great handmade items for sale and (of course) great biscuits.
Nashville treated us well! But it’s always nice to come back to home sweet home and the puppies.
