A Pink Grapefruit and Rosemary Gin Cocktail.
Yes yes yes yes yes. I am PUMPED! If you recall yesterday, I was so nervous and anxiety ridden over the Ducks game 7 predicament considering their most recent history but the boys pulled through and made me one happy gal and pulled out a huge game 7 victory!
This calls for celebrating. And celebrating calls for cocktails! Especially on Thirsty Thursday!
I’m a huge fan of Gin. Sometimes my friends make fun of me for it because they say it’s an old man’s liquor and to that I say, good, more for me. But seriously. I like Gin. I think it’s smooth, it mixes well with flavors I like and so I drink it. Also I don’t like Vodka much soooooo ya, Gin.
Anywho, I’m one of those gals who orders the cocktails that have the sticks of herbs in them because 1) they’re delicious 2) they’re pretty 3) it makes me feel like a hippie farmer and 4) theymake cocktails fragrant. Of course you’ve got the traditional standby herbs like Mint and what not but my favorite herb to add to cocktails in Rosemary. Rosemary is all woodsy and gnarled and beautiful, plus delicious and has a great smell. It mixes really well with gin. and pink grapefruit. Which is why I mixed those together for this recipe!
I’m super pumped on the Ducks, super pumped that tomorrow’s Friday and super pumped that tonight we’re going to drink these Pink Grapefruit Gin and Rosemary cocktails!
