I love Avocados.
On everything, with anything, at every meal.
Some call this love obsessive, I call it a delicious part of every day life. When I was in Colombia a couple years ago, the waiters nicknamed me aguacate (Spanish for Avocado) because all I would ever ask for is moremoremore. I just can’t get enough. I love them, and really, what’s not to love?
Avocados, aka Nature’s Butter, have healthy fat, numerous health benefits, are the main star in guacamole, go well with any and every meal, are great for your skin, plus you can make ice cream with them. So again, what’s not to love?
Absolutely nothing. So, in ode to my very favorite food, today we are talking about avocado sauce. Life changing avocado sauce. The most delectable, delicious, decadent Avocado sauce you’ve ever had that can be put on anything and immediately elevate the flavors. I promise.
I put it on pasta, tacos, sandwiches, use it as a dip, and even enchilada sauce. Sometimes I eat it out of the bowl by itself. It’s really a blank canvas, you can add different herbs and spices to it to change the flavor and it will lend itself even better to your dish.
Enjoy!
