Welcome to Hocktober.
I know for most people the game day eats start come Football season but for me, I start feeling that game day spirit once hockey is back on.
Although, I’ll admit, this is the first year that I am actually taking somewhat of an interest in football. My friend convinced me to sign up for a fantasy football pool and for some reason I agreed?!?
But honestly, it’s been pretty fun so far. And there’s nothing that will make you care a little more about a sport you previously didn’t care much for then having a couple of bucks on the line. Oh and bragging rights.
Plus the start of football season means that every starts to get more in the mood for game day and more importantly GAME DAY EATS which is something I can always get behind.
So hockey is back starting tomorrow (!!) and I’m also playing in a fantasy league there, let’s just hope and pray I don’t end up in last place.
